Fernhurst is a privately owned and operated business with extensive expertise across cold storage and refrigerated transport operations. Acquired by ERH Refrigerated Transport in October 2025, Fernhurst has become a seamless extension of our transport services creating a fully integrated cold chain solution that enhances efficiency, flexibility, and service capability for our clients.
Strategically located in Truganina, Victoria, less than 30 minutes from the Port of Melbourne, our cold store and logistics depot offers significant operational scale, purpose-built temperature-controlled storage, and streamlined distribution capabilities. The size and capacity of the facility allow us to manage high volume through put while maintaining strict quality and compliance standards.
The acquisition of Fernhurst strengthens the synergy between storage and transport, enabling end-to-end cold chain management—from port to warehouse to final delivery—all under one trusted operation.

What We Do
Cold storage and refrigerated transport professionals
With a 12,000-pallet temperature-controlled warehouse we specialise in chilled & frozen storage of meat and food products for export or post import. We also offer blast freezing services for large quantities of food products that arrive at our cold storage warehousing chilled to be frozen. Along with a state-of-the-art cross dock operation currently handling upwards of 2000 pallets per day.
We hold accreditations from Prime safe, the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry and the Australian Quarantine and Inspection Service. Fernhurst is fully compliant with Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) and quality-accredited, and frequently deals with internationally exported or imported products from all over the globe.
